Instructors: Nicole DeLizzio, Scott Kelley, William TrescottAlthough trees can thrive without intervention, pruning is essential to address safety issues and improve structure, health, and appearance. Join the Mt. Cuba Arboriculture Team for a discussion of pruning equipment and demonstration of professional pruning techniques. The instructors will facilitate discussions that help attendees decide when they can safely intervene and when they should seek professional assistance. Participants are encouraged to share their pruning questions and specific circumstances. Class will be held outside; please dress for the weather. Because this program takes place on-site while the garden is open to the public, general admission to the gardens is included in the price.
